INTRODUCTION
This course is designed to develop an understanding of the modern approach to child care, identification, prevention and nursing management of common health problems of neonates and children.
AIM
- Perform various assessments of children (health, developmental & anthropometric)
- Provide care to critically ill children
- Provide nursing care to children with various medical disorders.
- Provide pre and post-operative care to children with common pediatric surgical conditions.
- Participate in immunizations programmes.
- Counsel and educate children.
